NEWTON, N.C. (June 24, 2016)—Newton welcomed Ville Pizza restaurant to the city during a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, June 24.
Ville Pizza is now open and is located at 1901 Northwest Blvd., Suite V, in Plaza Latina.
In addition to classic and specialty pizzas, Ville Pizza features salads, subs, pasta, calzones, stromboli and more. Cristina Pacheco operates the restaurant with her business partner, Sixto Ignacio. Pacheco said she dreamed of opening a restaurant for years, and Ignacio brings more than a decade of experience working in Italian restaurants.
Pacheco said she has enjoyed the interactions she has had with customers since the restaurant opened.
“I love it,” she said. “I love to talk with the people.”
Pacheco noted Ville Pizza offers great lunch specials that include drinks and are offered at great prices, as well as pizza specials on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Newton Mayor Pro Tem John Stiver welcomed Ville Pizza to the city during the ribbon cutting.
“We’re happy to have another restaurant in the city,” he said. “We wish you much success.”
