For your convenience, we offer an online bill pay service for utility customers. Effective Oct. 22, 2015, the city transitioned from NCO-EGS to Official Payments for electronic payment processing. The processing fee for electronic checks and debit cards is $1. The processing fee for credit cards is $2.95.
If you’re making a payment after your final payment date, please call customer service at 828-695-4301 and give the representative your confirmation number. Failure to contact customer service after making a payment after your final payment date could result in disconnection of service.
You may also pay your utility bill by phone by calling 888-272-9829. Once your call is connected, select option 3 and enter jurisdiction code 3887. There is a nominal fee for this service.
